How to Clean and Maintain Your Interlocking Floor Tiles
Cleaning Made Simple
No sealing. No waxing. No special tools. Your floor stays sharp-looking with the same basic cleaning you’d do for any working space. Whether it’s a light sweep or a power wash, Interlocking Products floors are built for easy maintenance—so you can focus on enjoying the space, not scrubbing it.

For everyday upkeep:
Regular Cleaning
- Sweep or use a shop vac to remove dust, leaves, and debris.
- Clean up spills as they happen using a light degreaser and a damp mop or cloth.
- There’s no need for sealing or polishing - these tiles are designed to stay looking great with simple care.
Pro Tip: A quick once-over with a push broom or mop goes a long way.

It’s a common question—and an easy fix.
What Happens If Something Spills?
Our tiles are designed to handle spills. If any liquid makes its way underneath:
- Start at the corner of the tile where the two pegged edges meet.
- Use a flathead screwdriver to gently lift and pop up the tile.
- Wipe up whatever’s underneath.
- Just clip the tile back into place - done.
This takes just a few seconds, and you never need to remove large sections of the floor.

For seasonal cleanups:
Occasional Deep Cleaning
For seasonal cleanups or bigger messes, a deep clean is just as straightforward:
- Slightly raise the front row of tiles near the garage door or entryway.
- Use a pressure washer or hose to wash from the back to the front of the garage or room.
- Add a mild cleaner or degreaser to your water if needed.
- Let the area air dry or sweep out excess water with a push broom.
The tiles stay in place and naturally allow water and debris to flush out. You don’t need to remove them—just lift the front edge to let water move freely underneath.
